I love the beach. It’s my happy place, where I can breathe deep and feel the calm...
In a few short years, beach days got a lot more… involved. After years of trying, in just five years, I became a mum to four little ones (yes, there’s a set of twins in the mix!), and for about six years straight, I ran on sleep fumes. Hats off to any parent managing a closer turnaround - I know how much of a whirlwind it is!
One day, mid-juggle, I had an idea. I needed a giant bag, one that could fit ALL the gear to take four little ones to the beach on my own while my hubby was at work. So, I got out my trusty $200 Aldi sewing machine, picked up some shade cloth from Bunnings, and grabbed webbing straps from Lincraft. And there it was - the first ever Beach Hauler mesh beach bag. Not gonna lie, it was rough around the edges. Please don’t try sewing your own (I speak from experience here), but it sparked something BIG!
Fast forward, and after finding an amazing production team, we perfected the Beach Hauler. It became everything I’d envisioned—sturdy, roomy, and designed to handle all the gear a busy family could need. But more than that, it’s a product I’m so proud of because I know it’s making a difference in families’ lives. And let me tell you, it’s surreal seeing our Beach Haulers in remote spots across Australia while my family and I travel around in our caravan.
As a mum of four, I just wanted to make beach outings easier for families. And hearing that our Beach Hauler has been welcomed into so many Australian (and overseas!) homes makes my heart feel incredibly full.
